For as long as I could remember, I have always loved dancing.
I began dance training at the age of 9 at Bre Dance Studio Riverside, California. I studied ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop dance under the direction of Clifford Breland. I became a member of Bre’s Performing Ensembles and performed and competed in numerous prestigious competitions and performances.
2009 Came around and tried out for the Washington Wizards and was picked to join the team. Soon after joining the team I found out that I was expecting my first baby girl so dancing had to be put on the back burner.
3 kids later I decided that it might be fun to try my first Zumba Class to get the BABY FAT off. From that first class, I was hooked. I knew that I wanted to teach and bring the same fun to other people.
October 2011 I was offically certified to become a Zumba Instructor and have not looked back since. At that time, I was motivated because I had my own success story of loosing 45 lbs
Now with the new arrival of my 4th baby girl "THE BABY FAT" has returned. DUN DUN DUN (scary music). The funny thing is I have never been so comfortable with my body being flawed. I see this as a huge challenge to show that hard work and detication does over come. I am surround by people that second guess if they can actually accomplish such a "HUGE" task. I want to be that example and show it can be done starting from the bottom.
I am forever grateful to my students for sticking by me and growing with me throughout the years.
What started as a small goal bloomed into a dream I didn't now I wanted. I love what I do!
